Open to meaningful work, bold ideas & excellent conversations

Hi, I’m Stacey.
I build what the moment requires.

I’m a healthcare and operations leader, founder, creative problem solver, and lifelong learner. I listen first, look for the whole picture, and turn complicated ideas into practical, deeply human solutions.

Current personal quest

Learning to speak in frequencies.

Right now I’m teaching myself amateur radio and Morse code through CQ Unicorn—a curiosity-fueled side quest in patience, play, and technical growth, with one delightfully ambitious dream: reaching the International Space Station.

A life too big for one page

I don’t fit inside a résumé.
And that may be the point.

My work has always lived at the intersection of people, systems, curiosity, and courage. The titles change. The through-line does not.

I build

Businesses, programs, workflows, apps, websites, communities, and the occasional plan that sounds impossible until it works.

I lead

By listening, understanding the whole system, and leaving people more capable and knowledgeable than I found them.

I explore

Mountains, technology, radio frequencies, treasure maps, human behavior, and questions most people stopped asking.

I care

About people, animals, communities, and the real consequences of the systems and decisions we create.

The scenic route

A career built through curiosity.

I thought I would become a doctor. It turns out I was better at business—and wonderfully incapable of taking a straight line from one chapter to the next.

18

Healthcare from the ground up

I began in healthcare at eighteen and spent the next two decades learning operations, research, compliance, patient experience, growth, partnerships, and what actually makes organizations work.

Ride

Motorcycle coach & cross-country rider

I became a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation coach, trained and licensed new riders, and rode my own motorcycle across the country. Safety, confidence, and calm instruction matter on the road—and at work.

Loud

MBA by day. Heavy metal by night.

After earning my MBA, I stopped treating music like a someday dream. I built a successful online music presence, appeared on a podcast, joined a heavy-metal band, traveled—and met my husband.

Roam

A year of working from the road

My husband and I packed our motorcycles, Patch, and our remote jobs, then spent more than a year exploring the country—including five weeks in a remote West Virginia cabin and an ongoing search for excellent hot dogs.

Build

The Sacred Path

I created a coaching business, brand, nine-session program, operational infrastructure, digital platform, and mobile app designed around transformation, self-trust, and human-centered leadership.

Now

Still transmitting curiosity

Today I’m building CQ Unicorn, learning amateur radio and Morse code, exploring AI and web development, serving my community, and looking for the next meaningful problem worthy of my full attention.

Things I’ve made real

Give me an idea.
I’ll build the ecosystem.

I’m happiest when a mission is meaningful, the problem is complicated, and I’m trusted to connect the pieces others may not see.

Self-taught technology

An app—and the component it needed

When a platform could not do what the experience required, I learned the technology and coded a custom component myself. “It can’t do that” is often just the beginning of my research.

Also Stacey

Professionalism and delight are not mutually exclusive.

I take the work seriously. I do not believe that requires taking myself seriously every minute of the day.

Field tested

I’m not especially interested in the easiest path.

I’m interested in the one that leads somewhere meaningful—and in learning what fear, preparation, perspective, and perseverance can teach us along the way.

Community engagement, technically

Sometimes the strategic plan is
two inflatable unicorns.

My sister and I joined a local parade dressed as unicorns. The entire town talked about it. A useful reminder: joy is memorable, connection does not have to be complicated, and professionalism is not the absence of delight.

How I lead

Listen first.
Build from the truth.

I respond to data and the full picture—not simply to what “should” work. I believe leaders inherit a responsibility to honor people, share knowledge, remove needless barriers, and leave their teams better than they found them.

“The best systems are both effective and humane. We should never have to sacrifice one to achieve the other.”

Star of the home team

Meet Patch.

Patch traveled the country with us, supervised remote work, and remains one of my clearest reminders that presence matters. In our house, living things are treated with respect. Wasps are caught. Spiders are escorted outside. Dogs are consulted on important matters.

For the humans who still need the PDF

Yes, there is a résumé.

The next chapter

Every project I’ve loved
started with a conversation.

If you’re building something meaningful—or looking for someone who loves solving interesting, human problems—I’d love to hear from you.

Especially interested in leadership, operations, healthcare innovation, program development, strategic projects, consulting, and ambitious collaborations.
